The very old album and the very new album

As you might already know I have recently published my very first live album. It was from a concert in a Swiss church with dangerously nice acoustics and even more dangerously nice audience.
Conditions were perfect.
Except for one detail. I forgot to record it.
But what are friends for, one recorder was perfectly placed, perfectly balanced, perfectly in time and space… et voila, the album is on your desk-top. It shows a lot of how I perceive didgeridoo playing at the moment. As every album it hides but simultaneously gives a hint of what I dream of but cannot really express yet.

But another creature has took the opportunity to crawl out at the same time the portal was open. This is my first “real” album. The one that counts. Before this one I only had one demo(n). This album Iz dubina besvjesnih is the beginning of my deep sound exploration. Before it I was just playing didgeridoo. But then as I was faced with presenting recorded material to people I realized there is an obstacle through which the inner has to pass to become the outer. So the inner perceptions of songs were drastically changed when they came out and were captured “for real”. I had a lot of frustration about this impotence of mine to put the inner out and so my slow and long journey into depths of didgeridoo sound started.
The other aspect of this album is that it is in this pure form coming from one young (yes I was still young at that time 😉 ) player which was very much in love with The Art even though The Art was not showing the same amount of love towards him. Listening five years later to the album that was made practically without effort compared to its younger brother, you could say 5 years is a lot of time. Not just for me, but for everybody. Keep your vector strong.

As my last present I would like to present to you the animation which shows how wonderful Mr Sokolić was creating the cover  from Iz dubina besvjesnih:

Hey mister Du good to hear you !
When listening to the last piece of the live recording, as the cover picture on my screen got closer I could swear my focusless eyes saw you move and play for a while. Maybe I need some sleep.

I love the Kloster Dornach live album! I just bought it. I think there is something special about the live-performed nature of music, and this recording carries “presence” more than the studio work. Also, the date of the Dornach show was also the day I first performed Dreamtime Synastry on the professional scene, only I was at an art museum not a church. The day of 3-3-2012 aligned with the Mayan definition of 5 IX (white overtone wizard), corresponding to keys of B, G#-G#-B-D-C# ! Thanks for the wonderful music Du!!! The inspiration carries through the tunnel on wings of waves
