This was a busy, beautiful, enthusiastic month. Du and Druyd decided to make some Christmas cards this year.  And I can proudly present them to you here and now with huge smile over our faces. I invite you for some enjoyment:

I can tell you some secrets about it. This is how it happened. Du one evening discovered the first sentence that has been flying freely and yet untouched in the air of the studio, and with the BIGGEST smile he told us all: “Rinkel Finkel TinkelG Tondo, how would you like a glass of Mondo?”

Then, within a few days, the rest just poured out of him. And the new task was born – to search for music. This was Druyd’s first “film music assignment”! Yr was absolutely fantastic. He would sit on the FAT BOY sofa in the studio with the text in his hands and mysteriously create musical plot out of it.

At the same time Du and I started working on the plasticine! What better job would you ever want as an adult? We spent 10-ish days or so with our hands inside of this strange mass producing uncountable worms J And then with the help of some digital magic it all sat in place. Now it’s here so you can lean against its energy and rest. If you like it, we are happy.

…off course the camera was still shooting and OOOPS! The second music video by Druyd imerged. For the song Magic Wood. And I warn you, this one is already hi-tech-multimedia-six-senses event! So what’s the story?

This is the second video from September rehearsals in Kramasonik studio in Zagreb. The band is enjoying some practicing before the winter. And Mr Du decided to spice up the whole experience with some shots of the magic wood. Exclusive shots of The Magic Wood, naturally!

We hope you like it. We hope it’s a good signpost for the Magic Wood. We hope you find it. It’s a little scary and unexplored. But it’s even more magnificently alive.

And a video happened. Of the song Desert Stinkyroom while rehearsing in Kramasonik studio in Zagreb. Mighty 2/3 of the band members were sick but their throats, breaths and hands still worked very fine – if you ask me… Specially regarding the knitting technique

Rehearsals still go on, everydays and everynights in their druydical lives.

This is just a quick shortcut to visit places in their songs. The stinky room transmuted through different senses and consciousness shift into vast waving sand clouds. In a faraway desert, the singing woman on the dune only seems to be alone. Wind is everpresent.

We’re back from Airvault. 28 hours ride there and 25 back. Summed together and multiplied with the temperature in the car it makes around infinity. But it was worth it!
Beautiful festival. H U G E. Great people. Positive energy on highest level. No shouting all weekend. No litter at the end of the festival. Those familiar with Balkan traditions will know what kind of Sci-Fi that was to us.

Magnificent cedar trees. No photo transfers the beauty and the size.
Very interesting creatures of many forms. Many „old“ and „new“ artists. One to point out here is one out of didge world, but very deeply in music world. Great Mr Vladiswar Nadishana from Syberia.

People in the audience had admirable level of crazibilites. I heard screams from the audience during my concert like never in my life… I hope nobody was hurt.

This year Swiss was quite a bliss, due to the many friendly faces and souls we met. And we also got wet. 10:0 for the weather.

Alex brought some very nice new didges of purpleheart, wenge, padouk, kevazingo… It was our very often meeting point.

We met Du’s new host in Berlin – Didgenculture – Marc & Godrum ( Pierre was missing). They had the longest didges of the fest, but Du could not really try them due to the noise. http://www.didgenculture.com/

We’ve met our dear old and new friends Gauthier and Fiorino, Jack Azzara,  Andrea Ferroni, Tom Fronza, Ali Andress, Ansgar Stein, Markus Meurer, Pierre, Pin Pin, Colas and Tom-B… many wonderful players and much more…

And at last, there was a magnificent sound and picture capturer who brings you  some experiences of the Swiss. Hika3032 –thank you, whoever you are. The songs felt rather free, so they eagerly materialized on the stage.
